Yoobin is a co-founder and CEO at Quip Medical, which offers an AI-driven application designed to automate and improve physicians’ clinical workflows. Yoobin has observed firsthand through her medical training how inundated physicians have become with administrative tasks such as note-taking, spending most of their time in front of their computers instead of their patients. Fed up with these striking inefficiencies, she has since resolved to tackle these burdens, aiming to improve physicians’ lives and address the ongoing burnout crisis in medicine. As a medical student at the University of Ottawa with a degree in Cognitive Science from UC Berkeley, Yoobin hopes to use her experience in business consulting and digital health to introduce tangible technological innovations into medicine.
