Dr. Riley Hickman is a Co-Founder and Director of Research and Development at Intrepid Labs, where he spearheads innovative projects at the intersection of pharmaceutical science, machine learning, and robotics. Riley earned his PhD from the University of Toronto, studying under Professor Alán Aspuru-Guzik, who is also an Intrepid Labs co-founder.
Prior to founding Intrepid, Riley’s research primarily centered on the development of autonomous research platforms. These platforms accelerate the discovery and design of advanced materials and functional molecules, addressing critical societal needs. His work in this area leverages cutting-edge, multidisciplinary technologies to create impactful solutions, showcasing his dedication to advancing scientific frontiers.
