Moazam currently serves as the Director of Health at Velocity, where his primary focus is nurturing and advancing health technology startups within the global healthcare arena. His overarching mission is to bolster Canada’s standing in the realm of health entrepreneurship, accomplished through his unwavering commitment to equipping founders with the requisite resources and support for business growth.

Prior to his role at Velocity, Moazam spearheaded the launch and growth of two health technology companies. His accomplishments encompassed fundraising efforts, orchestrating and overseeing clinical trials, establishing strategic international partnerships, securing regulatory approvals, and building and managing teams spanning three continents.

Moazam graduated with distinction from both the Faculty of Science (B.Sc) and Faculty of Engineering (MBET) at University of Waterloo. During his tenure, he undertook projects such as developing software for medical practices and inventing a portable vein visualization device. His contributions earned him honors, including the Norman Esch Entrepreneurship Award and an Alumni Achievement Award from the University of Waterloo.
